EFCC raid 'Yahoo Yahoo' Training School in Lagos, Arrest Proprietor and Students


The Economic and Financial Crime Commision (EFCC) on Tuesday said they raided a hideout believed to be 'Yahoo Yahoo' training school in Ojodu Berger Lagos. The arrest was made following intelligence report received by the commission on the illicit and fraudelent activities going on in the house.

   Twenty two years old Frank Chinedu believed to be the proprietor of the 'Yahoo Yahoo' training school was arrested while delivering lectures on internet fraud activities to its students.

   The proprietor was arrested on the 22nd of May 2019, along with 8 other students in an unnamed training centre located at number 14 Animashaun Street, Progressive Estate, Ojodu Berger, Lagos while receiving lectures on internet fraud activities.

   On Tuesday, the EFCC spokes person made this anouncement in Lagos. He gave the names of the students as Olamide Edun, 20;  Benjamin Opah, 19; Ahmed Musa, 24; Desmond Eze, 29; Benjamin Irabor, 21;Akapo Prosper, 22; Innocent Paul, 20 and Preye Kingsley, 23.  

   Items recovered from the suspect's hideout are one Toyota Camry with registration number EPE406FN, nine laptops, 16 mobile phones, one Orange Wifi and an Airtel modem.
       The suspects will soon be arraigned in court according to the EFCC.
