Governor of Oyo State, Seyi Makinde has tested positive for Coronavirus.
Making the announcement on Twitter on Monday, he said, “I just received my COVID-19 confirmation test result. It is positive. I am asymptomatic and will continue to self-isolate.”
Earlier Bauchi State governor, Bala Mohammed, Kaduna State governor, Nasir e-l-Rufai, had both tested positive for the virus.
As at today 30th March 2020, Nigeria has recorded about 111 cases with 2 deaths. Globally, more than 25,000 people has died from the dreaded virus with over 750,000 people affected globally.
