A wanted man taunted police on their
own Facebook page after they issued an appeal to find him.
Brazen man Martin Tate is being hunted by officers on suspicion of assault.
Earlier today North Wales Police appealed for information to catch Tate, of Caernarfon.
It included a post on the force's Facebook page asking the public "Where's he hiding?"
Police issued their appeal on social media
"#Caernarfon man Martin Tate 31 #wanted by Police for assault and is avoiding us," police wrote.
"Where he’s hiding?? Call us on 101 or @Crimestoppers."
A short time later the 31-year-old replied under the post: "Can't catch me.
"Hahaha.
"I see who has the last laugh now".
His post attracted over 50 likes, the Daily Post reports.
The response
But not to be outdone North Wales Police responded: "Hi Martin - you can run but you can't hide.
"See you soon."

The police response attracted almost 900 likes while Martin's response received more than 400.
Anyone with information on Tate's whereabouts is asked to call North Wales Police on 101
