The pair were filming the first Star Wars movie when the affair took place
The late actress, who passed away just after Christmas last year, revealed she had an "intense" affair with her Star Wars co-star.
Carrie was just 19 at the time, while the Hollywood actor was a then 33-year-old married father-of-two. The pair were filming the first Star Wars in 1976 when the affair took place.
The Blade Runner actor, who had previously remained tight-lipped about his co-star's memoir titled The Princess Diarist, was quizzed about the bombshell in an interview with GQ this week.

Pressed, the actor was asked if he was warned that Carrie would mention him in the book.
"Um, to a degree. Yes," the 75-year-old replied.

He added that the affair was also not a subject he wanted to broach.

And when asked if he had read the book, he simply replied: “No. I didn’t.”
Last year, Carrie told People magazine that their affair was "so intense".
“It was Han and Leia during the week, and Carrie and Harrison during the weekend," she added.

She said she found him "really handsome" while she was sexually "inexperienced".

The actor's marriage to Mary Marquardt came to an end in 1979, though Carrie insisted it was "for reasons having nothing whatsoever to do with me".
When promoting the memoir, Carrie admitted she gave her co-star a warning, sharing: "I said, 'I found the journals that I kept during the first movie, and I'm probably going to publish them.

"I mean, I'll show it to you before and you can take anything out that you want taken out. I don't want to make you uncomfortable' - which I, of course, have. Unduly uncomfortable."
